Britney Spears Hopes For Caesarean Birth

Britney Spears tells Elle magazine she plans to name her baby London, if it is a boy – and she wants to give birth by caesarean. “I have a feeling I’m going to have an operation. I don’t know why, but I hope so,” she said. “My mom said giving birth was the most excruciating thing that she’s ever gone through in her life. So if a caesarean doesn’t happen, I’ll be like, ‘Epidural, please!’ Hopefully my athletic abilities will take over.” Meanwhile, The Mirror reports that the singer has been intently watching coverage of Hurricane Katrina. “Britney’s been glued to the TV coverage of the storms and obviously very worried about her family,” a source said. “She wasn’t able to contact them until they had moved away from the storm. It was very stressful for her and she’s just thankful they are all OK. In the end Kentwood got off lightly compared to New Orleans and Baton Rouge but her family took no chances and moved out early just in case.” Read more.
