BBC Radio 2 host Michael Parkinson spoke with The People about interviewing Britney Spears after seeing the singer cry in an interview with Diane Sawyer on ‘Primetime’. “I came away from talking to Britney with the impression of a girl who is all style and very little substance,” Parkinson revealed. “Watch her talk. She’s got hardly anything to say and fills the gap with ‘whatever’, ‘just hangin’ out’ and ‘hey, cool’. Seeing her crying on American TV, I realize the real gap she’s got to fill is the one created when Justin Timberlake walked out of her life.”
