The Fredricksburg Time interviewed Elsie Belman, Britney Spears’ limo driver this week in Washington DC. Belman revealed, “I had [Spears'] grandfather in the front seat, and she was very respectful of him. Whenever he said anything, she said, ‘Yes sir.’” Belman even took the opportunity to try on Britney’s flip flops after the star left them in her sport utility vehicle. “I just wanted to be able to say I walked in her shoes,” Belman said. And not long after Belman picked them up at Dulles International Airport Tuesday, Spears and two friends rang another friend on a cell phone and sang “Happy Birthday.” “Nice, nice,” Belman said when asked how they sounded. Britney’s friends are very important to her and you can tell she cares a lot for them. And the limo driver should have recorded Brit’s rendition of “Happy Birthday” and posted it on the internet. Seems a little weird, but then again, the girl tried on her shoes! :)-
