Britney Spears’ ‘Me Against The Music’ Blasted

Ryan Schreiber of posted a blistering review of ’ new single ‘Me Against the Music’ featuring Madonna. He writes, “Oops! Looks like it’s all over for your girlfriend, and it’s not just ’cause her fan base has grown up– Britney’s been accosting all of us too fu**ing long with her Disney-fried, sub-Abba teen-pop, and now, like the awesomely savage barbarians we are, we want blood. Even her record label seems to want to end it here: they’ve tossed her ‘Me Against the Music’, one of the greatest disasters in pop music history, as a surefire ship-sinker.”

As Britney fans will say “Like oh my gosh, like this guy is so frigging jealous, I mean like who even knows who he is, after mention Britney’s name he is like going to be so popular, I mean the power of Britney”. LMAO that song does sucks, just get over it. I am not going to slam the whole album though because I haven’t heard it, so it will be very unfair to prejudge even though I hate the bitch!

This won’t be the last bad review…..there is many to come. Britney’s ship has finally sunk….for good this time.

Britney fans are so bitter. you guys think that anyone who says something bad about their precious Britney is wrong. its so typical of Britney fans to be in denial…… I guess they get it from their idol.

The reviewer probably dislikes Britney int he first place, but whatever, I know that everyone isn’t going to love MATM. But he is wrong in his statement that the record label tossed me against the music. They are totally backing Britney on it, so he is definitely wrong there. Then again, he works for a site called pitchforkmedia, what do you expect?

  4. CARPEDIEM says:

MATM is ok, it’s not a great song but it’s not an awful song either. The song is a hit, it’s in the top five on most stations that play it. It’s funny how haters are pissed off that the song is doing well.

  5. MariahsMan says:

Every artist gets bad reviews…it just happens. The song isn’t that horrible. Half of you that are probably bashing Britney are probably singing along with the song when it comes on the radio.

  6. dyin2bfamous says:

I have to admit, I love MATM and the video is awesome. This is my favorite song right now. It’s just a pure dance and fun song. I hope it will be a lot of fun songs like it on her cd.

  7. blondeambiti0n says:

Alright you little people saying there will be many more “bad reviews” for MATM to come, there will be good and bad reviews. That’s just the way it works, even your precious Christina and her album got some bad reviews. Deal with it. There are people that are going to like what you put out and there will be people that don’t like what you put out, it’s a given. And this guy obviously doesn’t like the song, so yeah, it’s only natural for him to blast it. Get it?

  8. Xtina-Dirrty says:

MATM sounds like a freaking election campaign jingle. That’s why people with knowledge about music and with taste hates this song. (eww, did I just type “song”?) Maybe she would dedicate this song to her past sugar daddies (every governor in America). CLOSE YOUR LEGS, BITCH Dirrty is a lot more better. Even black people loved that song.

  9. Spearsworld says:

Oh whatever! This guy only likes rock music. His review wasn’t even about the song so much as it was about his predictions of her career. The fact he reviewed it is evidence of how huge Brit and her song are because this guy typically doesn’t even deal with pop stuff. Go Britney, keep those haters talking and talking.

What a great review. summed it all up perfectly. its one of the tackiest songs ever. sounds like a 12 year old made it. awful, embarrassing lyrics. its a joke. you guys who say you like it are either 12 years old yourself, or you just have no taste in music. the song is disgustingly bad.

The review WAS about the song, hence two paragraphs solely ON it, and the other two mostly on the song as well. and that website also reviewed Kylie Minogue and Girls Aloud, giving them good reviews. face it. the song sucks. no matter how much you brainwash yourself into believing otherwise, you know the truth. get some self respect and admit that you think it’s crap… because you KNOW it is.
