Britney Spears On Kiss And Her ‘Trust’ In Bush

Earlier today, was on ‘Crossfire’ where they aired a portion of her interview with Tucker Carlson to be played on CNN minutes from now. Read on for a transcript.

CARLSON: Tell me — give me the chronology of the kiss. How did
you decide to kiss Madonna?

BRITNEY SPEARS: Well, actually, in rehearsals, it wasn’t something that
was, like, this is what we’re going to do. It was just kind of like, we
played around a little bit. And she said before the performance: Let’s
just feel it out and see what happens.

So I didn’t know it was going to be that long and everything. It was

CARLSON: Had you ever kissed a woman before?

SPEARS: No, I have never kissed a woman before.

CARLSON: Would you again?

SPEARS: Would I again? No. I would not do it — oh, maybe with Madonna.

CARLSON: Well, with business out of the way, I went on to ask the pop
music diva for her views on matters more pertinent to CROSSFIRE.

CARLSON: A lot of entertainers have come out against the war in Iraq.
Have you?

SPEARS: Honestly, I think we should just trust our president in every
decision that he makes and we should just support that, you know, and be
faithful in what happens.

CARLSON: Do you trust this president?

SPEARS: Yes, I do.

CARLSON: Excellent. Do you think he’s going to win again?

SPEARS: I don’t know. I don’t know that.

I don’t know about trusting our president in every decision, but at least Britney has a political view and isn’t shy about expressing it, whereas many celebrities wouldn’t do that.

Alright I say this about people not liking artist for being anti war so I guess I’m gonna have to say it to myself. Don’t listen to music because of the artists opinion, just listen to it for the music. I personally don’t agree with Britney and think that she’s totally lying anyways…whatever.

  3. blondeambiti0n says:

Why would Britney lie about this? She doesn’t seem like the kind of girl that would be very focused on politics anyways, so my guess is, this is what she really thinks.

WHY ARE PEOPLE GETTING PISSED ABOUT THIS!!! I am fricking 16 years old and I am more mature then then the Democrats who got pissed….she can have her opinion….50% (give or take) of the people in this country are republicans….its not like she said I WANT BUSH TO WIN! she realizes that he is OUR president and we need to trust his decisions for the good of the nation…i am glad I have enough class not to get mad when someone isn’t on my side of the spectrum. I am a Democrat….100% of the way….i don’t like Bush…..i hope he gets his @$$ kicked in the election but what she said did not mean she doesn’t have anti-democrat feelings…i agree…we should trust our president…he is in there for a few more years whether we like it or not! GET OVER IT!!!!!! oh and some of the comments in an earlier posting (the ones that democrats supposedly said) are completely rude (shouldn’t be on this site) and are most likely made up by someone who doesn’t like Britney…..My mom is good friends with one of them and he told me that he said nothing of the sort….so shove it whoever wrote that!

No, if they don’t agree with Bush, they fear of getting death threats. Look what happen to the Dixie Chicks.

Then, why are getting pissed at the those few people. Sad to say all democrats, I can say the same about those republicans who trash the Dixie chicks. Second this isn’t a matter of freedom of speech, this another way Britney can get some controversy and getting in the news. Its really sad, because her answer sounds very pre-school.

Britney is just playing it safe. She doesn’t want the same thing that happened to Madonna to happen to her. She knows that allot of people that speak out on Bush in the entertainment field get serious repercussions for it. Britney is too scared and weak to express her real views on the matter. That is if she actually has a thought in her head and doesn’t agree with what everyone tells her.

Just because a group of democrats are being immature doesn’t mean all are. I personally am not a democrat or republican or anything, nothing can label my opinions and views. Someone said “***** Democracy” and that is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard in my life. Supposedly American is a democracy so basically whoever said that is saying “***** America”. To me, we aren’t democratic but I guess to some people we are. Britney was just being weak by staying with the crowd. I know that Britney doesn’t trust bush, so she should’ve just said “no comment”…what was he gonna say, “Britney, you have to tell me your political views!”…no.

I’m the one that said “F**k democracy” because I don’t agree with it. And Britney does trust Bush. A couple of years ago, she was asked about what she thought about the 9/11 Bush decision thing – and she said, quietly, that she agrees with his decision. I’m so proud that she has come out of her shell and now she said it f**king proudly that she agrees with him, instead of being shy about it.
