Taylor writes, “She retained the majority of her demographic even after her switch from teen sweetheart to pop seductress, but this latest switch from intense stage display to laughable stage antics (bad choreography, over the top lip-syncing, pretend instrumentation, minute musicality, and low energy), may be one of the first nails in her coffin as a serious contender for reigning ‘pop icon’ status.
