Associated Press reports Pepsi has decided to not renew Britney Spears to a contract after two years with the singer. The cola company has nabbed Destiny’s Child star Beyonce Knowles to lead a new marketing effort. Dave Burwick, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Pepsi-Cola North America said Knowles is “a multitalented entertainer who has achieved tremendous success and popularity in both music and movies.” The new spots will continue the ‘Joy of Pepsi’ campaign, which began in January 2003, Pepsi spokesman Bart Casabona said.
