Britney Spears Post ‘Dateline’ Damage Control

The New York Post reports that after hearing her ‘Dateline NBC’ interview with Matt Lauer wasn’t warmly received by the public – especially her attire and makeup, Britney Spears had a photographer take pictures of her with professional hair, makeup and wardrobe. The singer called the celebrity weeklies she had trashed during ‘Dateline’ to attempt to sell the photos and an “exclusive” interview for $200,000. After nobody bit, OK! magazine finally bought the shots and the interview for only $5,000. A rep for the magazine declined comment but did say, “Who doesn’t love a discount?”
