Britney Spears Redefines Wedding Gift Etiquette
Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Tuesday night, “I was reading an interesting etiquette book. It said that when a person gets married, you have up until one year after the wedding to get them a gift. Unless it’s Britney Spears … then you have to do it in the first 20 minutes. As you know, Britney was married and divorced last week in like 48 hours. She claims they were drunk at time of they got married. See, this is what we need in Vegas. We need a sobriety test for brides and grooms – like they have for drunk drivers. Maybe they should have a chalk line down the middle of the wedding chapel. So when you walk down the aisle, you have to walk a straight line.”
