The Sun reports Britney Spears is now dating Jared Leto, the ex-boyfriend of Cameron Diaz, perhaps a ploy to avenge her former lover and *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake. Spears and Leto were photographed leaving Dolce in Los Angeles before meeting up again at Ben Affleck’s 31st birthday bash. “Britney is upset about seeing Justin looking so close to Cameron,” a source revealed. “Jared was a shoulder to cry on, and he and Britney have known each other for a long while as friends. However, in recent weeks they have seen each other regularly and are growing closer. She really enjoys Jared’s company but they were wary of the attention they would get considering who their old flames are.”

Funny I saw on E! News Live the footage of Ben’s party. Britney and Jared left together but it didn’t look like they even went in the same damn car. Not only that but after the party she was shown leaving the club alone with her bodyguard. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if they just made something up from a picture.
