Britney Spears Skips Grammy Awards

There was talk going back and forth about Britney Spears attending the Grammy Awards on Sunday. We know she was in town, appearing on Saturday Night Live the night before. While there was a seat assigned for her, many may believe she didn’t show because ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC was presenting with Kylie Minogue. She also may have wanted to avoid Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, and media grilling she’d get about both. Meanwhile, Spears also likely would want to stay away in light of the shocking charges fresh from Star magazine alleging her cocaine use, preferring it to blow over.
