While a source close to Britney Spears’ family says the singer split with bodyguard Big Rob because she switched security firms, another source tells Us Weekly that his closeness to Spears may have been the actual problem. Rob “treated her like a sister and not a star who needed watching over. He turned a blind eye like a family member would, and he didn’t see things objectively or [look out] for her best interest.” Whatever the case, the family source added, “Everyone is sad about it. He’s part of the family.”
