Britney Spears Stalker A ‘Misunderstanding’ Says Lawyer

AFP reports Britney Spears is guilty of a “cultural misunderstanding” in believing that a Japanese fan who allegedly followed her and sent her love letters was a stalker, his lawyer said today. The comments came during a court hearing in Los Angeles called to assess the diva’s request for a restraining order against wealthy computer programmer Masahiko Shizawa, who comes from the Japanese city of Yokohama.
