Britney Spears Still Firing Blanks

Jim Farber of the New York Daily News reviewed Britney Spears’ Meadowlands concert Saturday night (April 10). Farber writes, “Clearly, singing wasn’t a top priority. For most of the 90-minute ‘Onyx Hotel’ show, Spears deferred to the safety of lipsynching – and what a tender mercy that she did. The few times she sang flagrantly live, Spears navigated the notes like a person trying to drive a car after downing an entire bottle of Scotch.”
