Globe magazine reports Britney Spears is hot to rekindle her romance with Ben Affleck now that he’s split with Jennifer Lopez. “Now that Ben’s free of J.Lo, Britney’s absolutely thrilled and longing to be back in his arms – under any terms he wants,” a friend of the singer revealed. “She and Ben are regularly speaking by phone and everyone says it’s just a matter of time before they hook up. For Britney, Ben’s the perfect guy – handsome, equally rich and as famous as she is.” The friend added, “Right now, Ben isn’t rushing into anything. He has told Britney he’s not up for making any hasty commitments. But everyone who knows him says it’s just a matter of time before he rushers to be with her. Right now, Britney respects her feelings. But her passion for him remains unabated. She says that everything would be great in her life again if only she can get Ben back.”
