She have a good voice but she never use it.
So her fans were kind of not expecting much unlike Beyoncé’s fan who always expects satisfaction. Her concerts are more on dancing and not singing.
I mean you see her, but you don’t feel her.
But because fans were not expecting emotions or surprises,
they kinda like say it’s a great show.

I think Britney is a manufactured pop queen not a real recording artist. I think Alicia Keys is without doubt one of the best female recording artist’s of our time. I mean she just blows you away with her voice and talent. Meaningful songs that hit the heart, plus she is amazing live. Britney? pah!

What a beautifully written article. You hit on every point that I’ve felt about Britney’s voice over the years. This was very insightful, and completely agree with everything.. Most people (aka haters) are so oblivious to Britney’s talent because they’re too occupied by their preconceived notions. They merely scratch the surface of what they see, choosing to focus on her image, but ignore the complex and intuitive musician that Britney is. Thankfully, and judging solely on her massive success over the years, she has more fans who will attest to her outstanding craftsman and showmanship. This entry was posted over four years ago, yet Britney still remains the most influential and popular star in the world. Her career is going ten years strong, and people remain fascinated by her music and charisma. Whether or not most people will admit to it is irrelevant… by now it’s crystal clear that Britney Spears is truly the greatest Pop artist of our generation.

Wow. Thank you for this. I think when Britney decides to sort of retire from Hollywood, she should release a special album that is not about massive sales but about her. The album should just have songs she wrote herself and sings the way she use to; with a lot of soul, after she perfects her voice again.

Oh please, Britney a great pop singer? She is at best a below average vocalist and I would relegate her rather as a “performer” rather than an artist/singer. I wouldn’t never pay money to hear her so-called “singing”. But then I am rather picky and prefer to be blown away by artists that truly can sing well i.e.. Andrey Bocelli, Barbara Streisand, Kelly Clarkston and so on.
