Britney Spears: The Virgin And The Whore
Tracy Zhang of the Cornell Sun reviewed Britney Spears’ new album ‘In The Zone’, giving it two stars. Zhang writes, “Although society’s reasons for hating Britney are often creative and diverse, the main complaint about Spears, at least in terms of her music, has always been that she’s merely a manufactured product of careful business planning, an image rather than an actual musician. Well, at least she’s consistent. Familiar sounding because it is so formulaic, In the Zone attempts to play off the recent success of R&B beats with 11 dance-friendly tracks and two obligatory ballads.”
