While this has been rumored for awhile, MTV News confirmed today through Britney Spears’ publicist that the singer will develop and produce a feature film based on NASCAR racing. Britney will portray the daughter of a NASCAR team owner who inspires a retired track veteran to return to the circuit. It is expected that some NASCAR drivers will appear in the film when casting is completed. Read more.
