Gretchen Drummie of Sympatico/MSN’s The Scoop weighed in on Britney Spears’ breakdown and subsequent rehab stint. “Watching someone melt-down in public – though as hard to avert your eyes from as a car crash on the side of the highway – just isn’t funny,” she writes. “Therefore, even though those who still make jokes aren’t wrong to do it, we’re gonna retract our fangs, stay on this side of the ‘line’ and root for Britney to get well.
