News reports they’ve heard audio recordings from a woman claiming to be Britney Spears, who left three voice mails last month asking an attorney for help to extricate herself from her ongoing conservatorship under the control of her father Jamie. “Hi, this is Britney Spears,” a woman on one of the calls says. “I want Jon Eardley…to represent me as coappointed attorneys for my best interest and best wishes. Goodbye.” But a source close to the singer insisted the voice on the recordings is “absolutely not her.”
