Britney Spears’ TV Adaptation Character Is Wholesome

The New York Post reports shooting on the TV adaptation of Lynne and Britney Spears’ book ‘A Mother’s Gift’ began this week in Toronto (it will air this spring on ABC Family and stars an unknown named Lindsey Haun in the Britney role). A re-reading offers new insight into the world of Britney. “The movie is based on how Britney wanted to be a singer, and so does this character, and that’s pretty much where the similarity ends,” says a spokesperson for ABC Family, adding that Britney and her mother “have been really involved casting-wise and script-wise.”
