The Sun reports that ‘I Heart Huckabees’ director David O. Russell turned down Britney Spears for the part of Jude Law’s on-screen girlfriend after she auditioned three times. The role instead went to Naomi Watts. “Britney wanted Naomi’s part and read for me three times. She didn’t get it and was very angry,” While Russell said Spears wasn’t “right” for this part, he added, “I’d love to use her in the right role.”
