USA Today music critic Steve Jones took part in a Q&A with readers on Tuesday (October 5), where he was asked about his thoughts on Britney Spears and her cover of Bobby Brown’s ‘My Prerogative’. “In retrospect, it’s funny how everyone used to think that she wasn’t too bright,” Jones said. “She’s been savvy enough to make the sometimes treacherous transition from kid to adult artist and maintain her stardom.
