Britney Spears’ ‘W’ Magazine Feature

In the interview, Britney talks about the fascination with her smoking. “I was never hiding anything,” she said. “It was the people around me that were hiding me. The publicists would call me and they were like, ‘Oh, my God. This was in the newspaper.’ And I’m like, ‘Cool.’ I mean, what are you going to do? I think if I sat there and tried to hide it, it would look kind of stupid. Honestly, because I know I’m not supposed to do it, it makes me want to do it.”
