Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Friday night, “Britney Spears says, yes, she is married. Remember this thing? No, she says she is married. The problem is, the paperwork hasn’t come through, so she’s not legal yet. Boy, that’s something you don’t see in L.A. Very often — people here, but not legal. Did that ever happen before?”
