Britney Spears Wasn’t Originally Going To Sing In ‘Crossroads’

Ananova reports Britney Spears wasn’t originally supposed to sing in her debut film Crossroads. Britney revealed, “We started to look at the script and I thought to spice it up a little bit, it’d be fun to put in a song or too.” As for her latest film work on the new Austin Powers flick with Mike Myers, she said, “It was very cool. I’m supposed to be very sexy throughout the scene – it was a lot of fun.”
