With Britney Spears announcing her split from Kevin Federline on election day, she escaped the scrutiny from late night comedians, with 4 of the 5 shows in reruns in favor of networks doing election coverage, only Jay Leno was about to find time to do a single joke about the split during his ‘Tonight Show’ monologue on Tuesday. “After a little more than two years of marriage, Britney Spears filed for divorce. You know what that means? Apparently, she finally heard his rap album,” Leno cracked.
