The People reports Britney Spears is set to pen her own book after hearing her mother Lynne had signed a $1 million deal to write ‘Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World’ in time for Mother’s Day 2008. “I’m sure she’ll make it look like she was a great mother and all my problems have nothing to do with her,” the singer moaned to a source. “I am tired of other people writing about me,” Spears added. “I want to speak for myself. If it ends my career, so be it. People appreciate the truth. I’ll be bigger than ever.”
