Britney Spears official label site at Britney.com reports, “The rumors about Britney’s next movie are true. Britney is going to star in a NASCAR film, set to begin shooting early 2003. The movie will be a realistic portrayal of life in NASCAR, filmed on location with real races and drivers. The characters and script are coming together now, but it is confirmed that Britney will play the daughter of a NASCAR veteran who is considering a return to racing. NASCAR chose Britney because she embodies the All-American Southern girl. We can’t wait…vroom, vroom!”
