Caitlin Moran of the London Times looked at Britney Spears’ career on her 20th birthday today. Moran talks of Britney’s breakout success of Baby One More Time but talked about the challenge she faced when Christina Aguilera emerged from the pop scene. Moran said, “Looking back now, I like to think of the careers of Christina and Britney as being inextricably linked – and not just because they were child-stars on the Disney Channel-s Mickey Mouse Club at the same time.
