Britney’s Dad Breaks Down In Tears, Lynne Visits Sister’s Grave
People magazine was all over the Britney Spears on Saturday, reporting that the singer’s father Jamie broke into tears shortly after her discharge from Cedars-Sinai on Saturday morning. A source said that when the elder Spears “got to the house and realized the situation there, it broke him down.” It appears Jamie was behind Dr. Phil McGraw being invited to the hospital, since he considers the talk show host “a god.”
Meanwhile, Britney’s mother Lynne remained in Kentwood, Louisiana to visit the grave of her sister Sandra Bridges Covington, who had died of ovarian cancer last January. “It’s been a hard year,” Covington’s former sister-in-law, Libby Covington, told People. “There’s something new every day.”
