Britney’s New Music Is ‘The Next Level,’ Producer Says

MTV News caught up with producer J.R. Rotem, who is working with Britney Spears on new music, for word on what fans can expect on the singer’s new album. “Our goal is to try to one-up it,” Rotem said, referring to current radio hits like Nelly Furtado’s ‘Promiscuous’. “How can we innovate? How can we make the type of music where the people are gonna go, ‘Whoa, what’s that?’” He added, “I can tell you there’s some dance stuff; there’s some slow, more introspective stuff; some club things.
