Brooke Hogan Won’t Defraud Fans By Lip-Synching

Leslie Gornstein, E! Online’s ‘Answer Bitch’ was asked why so many singers lip-synch at “live” performances, including Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, Janet Jackson, and Destiny’s Child star Beyonce Knowles. Gornstein got pop newcomer Brooke Hogan, who says she doesn’t lip-synch, to explain. “This business would be dead right now if people knew how performers are getting away with quote-unquote singing live,” Hogan said. “So many fans are getting gypped these days.” Why is she an exception? “I’m a truthful person, and I don’t want to fake people out,” Hogan said.
