Ratethemusic.com reports Bryan McFadden is hoping to become a solo artist when Westlife eventually calls it quits, but he insists that split won’t happen anytime soon. “There are no plans to split,” he said. “We’re going to do the album and then tour and decide where to go from there – we’re just taking it album by album. Westlife are a family and there are no egos. We have a very close relationship and we’ll all decide when it’s over. At that point we’ll move into doing our own thing. I’ve got no solid plans but it’ll probably involve going solo or being a full-time songwriter.”
