TV insiders tell The Mirror that with news of Bryan McFadden’s departure from Westlife, if he and wife Kerry McFadden play their cards right, they could become the “new Richard and Judy”. A friend said: “Bryan will certainly be teaming up with Kerry and the pair will definitely be working together. It will almost certainly be a TV project and the pair have such strong links with Simon Cowell that I’m sure they will be working together in the future.” The friend added: “But Bryan still wants to keep his hand in as far as music is concerned and he isn’t ruling out a solo career. After five years, he felt the time was right to move on. He wanted to go out on top – and he has.”
