Buffed Up Gareth Gates Plots ’06 Comeback

The Daily Star reports that ‘Pop Idol’ season one runner-up Gareth Gates is planning a comeback soon. “He went away a boy but he’s coming back with a six pack and pecs,” a source revealed. “We want to show everyone he has grown up.” As for the sound of the new album, the source added, “He’s a priority for 2006 and has a Simon Webbe and Ronan Keating middle-of-the-road sound.”
