Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Monday night, “On Friday, President Bush held a press conference with British Prime Minister Tony Blair. And then he met with the ‘American Idol’ Taylor Hicks. Those are our two last remaining allies, apparently. … Interesting. President Bush spent hours talking about a possible solution to the mideast crisis until staffers had to pull him aside and say, ‘Hey, that’s Taylor Hicks. Prime Minister Blair is still outside.”
