Busted Starting To Broaden Fanbase

Radio 1 spoke with Busted star Charlie backstage at Leicester’s One Big Sunday, where 75,000 fans watched the group perform with several other acts. Charlie thinks the trio’s audience is getting bigger. “Some of the girls showed us their chests, which is nice,” he said. “Hopefully it is broadening, because I don’t think blokes were sure at first. I’m not sure they were sold on the fact we play and write. I think they’re starting to understand the fact that we play our own songs and we write our own songs. I think it’s been more universally accepted, which is great.”
