Music DVDs have given record labels and music retailers a reason to smile, with sales going up while audio CD sales continue to drop. “Anything DVD is a growth area,” said Sean Bersell, vice president of public affairs for the Video Software Dealers Association in Los Angeles. “The DVD provides such a superior experience versus both CDs and VHS cassettes. It is a tremendous product. The fact that DVD technology can accommodate different media gives it an immediate advantage. It’s a single format that, with one player, you can play music, videos and games.”

That’s true. I just can’t stop playing my Britney and Mariah DVD’s with their performance and music videos. My Christina DVD however, I used as a Frisbee for my dog.
This is VERY true, I don’t know if you guys have noticed, but it seems like every time a new CD gets released, it comes with a LIMITED EDITION DVD!!! And I think that really convinces people to buy the CD. I think it’s a really smart idea, and more artists should do it. I just can’t wait for my girl Mariah Carey’s new DVD to come out!
IT’S REAL SAD WHEN YOUR DOG HAS BETTER TASTE AND MORE MUSICALLY EDUCATED THAN YOU!
