‘Canadian Idol’ Coming After ‘American Idol 2′

More details of CTV’s upcoming ‘Canadian Idol’ are revealed on the network’s website. Plans are underway to bring auditions to several major cities across Canada, where thousands of hopefuls will be whittled down to 50 contestants and then just 10 hopefuls, each of whom will perform live before a studio audience, similar to ‘American Idol’ and the UK’s ‘Pop Idol’.
