Canadians Await Hometown Nelly Furtado Wednesday

Andrew Flynn of the Canadian Press spoke with Nelly Furtado ahead of her Grammy Award performance and multiple nominations as ‘Team Canada’ is well represented in this year’s awards. Nelly said, “I’m definitely excited, I’m just taking it day by day. My parents are in town. I’ll be sitting with my mom, so I think I’ll enjoy myself.” As for whether the singer is worried about winning or not, she said, “I’m going to enjoy myself, take it all in and be able to look back and say ‘I had a good time,’ that’s what it’s all about.”
