Carey’s Management Says HK Promoter Was In ‘Financial Default’

Mariah Carey’s management, Handprint Entertainment, is responding to news her concert in Hong Kong was cancelled due to what Concerts Asia deemed “poor response” and “unreasonable demands”. Benny Medina of Handprint tells AFP, “Due to a financial default by the promoter, it is with great sadness that Mariah will not be able to perform for her fans in Hong Kong. We gave them time to pay but he kept missing the new deadlines.”
