Carrie Underwood’s Close Call At Bloomingdale’s

The National Enquirer reports that ‘American Idol’ season four champ Carrie Underwood almost got hauled away for shoplifting at Bloomingdale’s in Manhattan when she left the store with a pricey bag of clothing. Her salesperson forgot to clip a security tag, and when guards demanded Carrie’s receipts, the singer babbled and couldn’t find them, insisting her designer that had been with her had the receipts. But before Underwood was to be hauled off Winona Ryder style, a saleslady recognized her from the Fox hit and shortly after, her stylist arrived with the missing receipts.
