Carson Daly tells New York Post writer Liz Smith that he “has and will continue to have a strong relationship with MTV. It is solid and valuable to both parties.” Daly adds, “MTV has helped me free my schedule, and I’m grateful. TRL’s ratings, by the way, have been the highest of the recent year.”
