Carson Daly’s TRL Days Numbered
The entire TV Guide feature on MTV Total Request Live host Carson Daly and his reported numbered days on the program. As you saw today, Brian McFayden filled in and before the celebrity hosting week recently, Carson told viewers on the March 28 show, “Next week all of your favorite big-time Hollywood celebrities will be hosting the show. I don’t know why, either. I’m not sick or anything. So just enjoy the week.” With McFayden and Quddus often filling in, they may be grooming the next host.
No doubt his banter with Janeane Garofalo about corporate controlled pop music last night didn’t help.
