Carson Says Mariah Carey Had Wackiest TRL Entrance

Us Weekly spoke with Carson Daly ahead of the 1,000th episode of TRL on Wednesday (October 23). Carson said Mariah Carey was the show’s ‘Wackiest Entrance’ from her infamous 2001 appearance. “I had no idea she was supposed to be on, which was interesting because I’m the host and executive producer,” Carson said. “First, she passed out ice cream, then she started taking off her shirt! I remember thinking, something is definitely wrong with her.”
