Casey Donovan Is Australia’s New ‘Idol’ Champ

Casey Donovan was the big winner on the second season of ‘Australian Idol’, beating out 21-year-old Anthony Callea in the finale on Sunday night. “I would just like to thank every single person, all the people that have worked on this show, my mum, my stepdad, my family, my friends,” the plus-sized 16-year-old said before about 2000 cheering fans inside the Opera House. “(Anthony) is a great guy … and I can’t thank everybody enough.”
