Tegan And Sara To Open For The Black Keys On U.S. Tour Dates

Canadian pop-rock sibling duo have announced that they will hit the road with The Black Keys for the extension of their U.S. Tour later this year. Additionally, the girls are confirmed to play Austin City Limits this October. The official ACL lineup was announced the other day and can be seen in full on the festival’s website.

Over the last couple months, Tegan and Sara have been hard at work recording their new album. The Quin sisters have been in the studio with Greg Kurstin, Mike Elizondo, and Justin Meldal-Johnsen.

Tegan and Sara lend vocals to two tracks on Grammy-nominated Morgan Page’s new album ‘In The Air’, including the single ‘Body Work’, which they also star in the video for.

Sarah VonderHaar’s team checked in with her Facebook fans earlier today, talking about a gig Saturday night in Chicago. The singer songwriter released her EP ‘P.D.L.’ in 2010. The statement reads:

This Saturday, May 26, Sarah VonderHaar will be performing live at McGee’s, on Webster in Chicago ( near DePaul University.) The show begins at 9pm. Sarah will be with very special guests, FRICTION. This is going to be a fun filled night with both acoustic, and full band performances.

is gearing up to hit the road in support of his fourth studio album ‘Believe’, which comes out June 19th. The Canadian pop star’s “Believe” Tour will, presented by AEG Live and featuring Carly Rae Jepsen as special guest through January, will begin September 29th in Glendale, Arizona at the Jobing.com Arena, hitting more than 45 cities before wrapping up in Miami, Florida on January 26, 2013 at the American Airlines Arena. Robyn Announces Club Shows After Select Coldplay Concerts

has announced a string of club dates after certain shows in support of Coldplay’s summer tour in the US and UK. The stops include a couple June dates in London and Manchester, and in America look for the Swedish pop singer at clubs in Miami, Philadelphia and Washington DC.

Robyn is no stranger to being involved with club nights, since she co-ran the successful Tutti Frutti night in Stockholm, and has previously guest DJed at her friend Rokk’s London club night ‘Body Talk’, which inspired the title of the series of ‘Body Talk’ albums released in 2010.

I just found a kazoo and I’m gonna play it during my solo shows on this tour. I’m sorry in advance. Aaaaand you’re welcome.

First night of tour, since there is no “catapult” with me, Chris has decided to Catapult me off the stage. If there’s no crowd to surf, I’ll happily stop drop and roll it out.

Christina Perri Follows Spring Headline Tour With Jason Mraz Summer Trek

has announced details of a major summer tour. The dates see Perri joining her Atlantic labelmate on the North American leg of his “Tour Is A Four Letter Word” World Tour, beginning August 10th at New Orleans’ Lakefront Arena and then continuing though early October. See the tour dates below.

The Atlantic recording artist recently teamed with the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter for a performance of her upcoming new single ‘Distance’. The appearance was a highlight of Germany’s 2012 ECHO Awards ceremonies. The single will be released later this month.

Perri’s original version of ‘Distance’ will be featured in a series of promotional spots heralding ABC’s hit series, ‘Revenge’, beginning tonight. Christina appears in a video featuring highlights from the show that will be featured during the ‘Revenge: From the Beginning’ clip show which airs on April 11th.

Perri will kick off her extensive U.S. spring tour April 30th at Asheville, NC’s The Orange Peel and then continuing through late May. Support on all dates come from Sleeping At Last.
