The Sun hears that Cheryl Cole has agreed to meet with her estranged husband Ashley in South of France, where the Chelsea soccer star is rehabbing an ankle injury. “Cheryl wants to be tough with Ashley and believes that will be easier on neutral territory,” a source told the British tabloid of the meeting, which she’ll give Ashley 15 minutes to plead his case. Kesha Sebert, aka Ke$ha, is speaking out against artists such as Britney Spears who practice the “art” of lip synchronization in concert, promising she won’t follow the pop tart’s miming path. “I think that’s bullsh**,” the ‘Tik Tok’ singer said, according to showbizspy.com. “I don’t think that’s fair at all for people who are going to see the show. I think if you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance. If you are going to do a combination of the two, you should make it very clear when you are singing and very clear when you are dancing. I would never do that to my fans. No offense to her specifically but people have asked me before to mime. I have been up at three in the morning for a television show with jet lag but I refuse to mime.”
Sugababes Heidi & Amelle Couldn’t Take Working With Keisha Anymore
Sugababes singers Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah are opening up about the latest shakeup with the British girl group that saw founding member Amelle Berrabah get ousted. “Bullying is a strong word. It sounds bad. But no one likes to be treated horribly,” Amelle told The Daily Record. “I was being singled out every day and I didn’t like the way I was being treated. I dreaded going in to work even though I had worked so hard to get here. I didn’t have a voice, Heidi didn’t have a voice and the people who worked around her didn’t have a voice. Even people who worked with us threatened to quit because they couldn’t take it. I took a lot of sh** from her as did Heidi and the rest of the team.”
Heidi spoke of similar emotional stress working with Keisha. “I couldn’t take it any more and neither could Amelle. How we allowed ourselves to be treated had gone on too long,” she explained. “It was pretty bad the last year of the previous line-up. I respect Keisha for the eight and a half years we have been together so I wouldn’t want to tell tales. But we had to make a decision whether to work in that environment.”
