According to Us Magazine, Simon Cowell’s decision to replace as a judge on ‘The X Factor’ with centered on the music mogul’s belief that the Girls Aloud star was “a much bigger risk” for the new show to be a success. “Throughout the whole decision making process, Simon was really torn between Cheryl and Nicole,” a source close to the former Pussycat Dolls singer said. “He absolutely loved Nicole, really felt like she was the right one, but also knew his chemistry with Cheryl had been great before in the U.K. He finally decided on the more comfortable option and chose Cheryl.” When they started taping ‘X Factor’ shows, Cowell began to believe selecting Cheryl was a mistake, leading to the shocking personnel change.

TMZ reports has been dropped as one of ‘The X Factor’ judges because producers were concerned about her English accent being too difficult for an American audience to understand. Sources added that there was a “lack of chemistry” between the Girls Aloud star and fellow judge Paula Abdul. Though bosses at the UK version of the show want her to return, Cheryl is upset about how she was handled and may break ties with the ‘X Factor’ franchise all together.

This week’s season finale of ‘’ appears to be getting thrown into turmoil after Lauren Alaina came down with laryngitis. Haley Reinhart, who was eliminated last week, may have to replace Lauren against Scotty McCreery to compete for the ‘Idol’ crown. TMZ reports Lauren was ordered not to speak or sing by the doctor on the set this afternoon after she was unable to complete her three songs during rehearsal.

Though lost out on the chance to replace on the UK version of ‘The X Factor’ to N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos, a source tells Daily Star Sunday The Saturdays’ star is up to replace Konnie Huq as the host of the spin-off ITV2 show ‘The Xtra Factor’. “TV chiefs were impressed with Frankie. But they don’t feel she has enough experience or personality to be a judge,” the insider said. “They can tell she has star quality but they are concerned she’s not ready to replace Cheryl on the show. So she’s now being lined up to present ‘The Xtra Factor’ instead.”

Just signing the marriage license requires this,” California attorney David E. Wohl tells FoxNews.com. “Because Britney is under a conservatorship for all intents and purposes she cannot get married. The conservatorship would have to be set aside before she can legally tie the knot. As far as the law is concerned, Britney is a child.”
